Hurricanes

A hurricane is a very large storm. Many hurricanes can be up to 1,000 kilometres across and have strong winds between 120 and 300 kilometres per hour. Hurricanes rotate in a counter-clockwise direction around an eye, the center of the storm. The eye is the calmest area with little or no wind..
