Surfing and Bodyboarding

Surfing is the sport of riding waves on a surfboard. Surfers stand on the board and manoeuvre it as they ride along the front of a breaking wave. The board is waxed to help their feet maintain a grip. Falling off is known as 'wiping out'. Bodyboarders use a shorter type of board, and lie on it. They wear fins on their feet to help them move and steer.
