Water is the most abundant liquid on earth. About 70% of the earth's surface is covered in water. Most of the living tissue in plants, animals and humans is made up of water. Without water, we die.
The pictures in this section show water: for example how people collect fresh water for drinking, cooking and washing, sources of water and how waste water is treated at a sewage plant to make it safe.
