Culture in New Zealand

New Zealand has many different cultures, including Maori, Pacific Island, European and Asian. The indigenous, and first people of New Zealand, are the Maori. Maori culture is oral with many stories, myths and legends. Maori people define themselves by their iwi, also called a tribe.
