Reptiles

There are about 7,000 species of reptile.

All reptiles are cool-blooded animals. This means their body temperature is similar to that of their environment.
Some reptiles, such as iguanas, have legs. Others do not.
All reptiles have dry skin covered with scales or rough plates.
Reptiles either lay eggs with hard shells, or the young hatch from soft-shelled eggs held inside the parent's mouth.
