Amphibians

Amphibians are animals that live all or part of their life in fresh water. Other features include:
  • Cool-blooded, which means their body temperature is similar to their surroundings.
  • Need a moist environment.
  • Skin is usually soft and moist, and has not scales, hair or feathers.
  • They must lay their eggs in water so they do not dry out.
