NORTH AMERICA

The continent of North America includes Central America, Mexico, the islands of the Caribbean Sea, the United States, Canada, the Arctic Archipelago, and Greenland. North America is bordered to the north by the Arctic Ocean, to the east by the North Atlantic Ocean, to the southeast by the Caribbean Sea, and to the south and west by the North Pacific Ocean. Covering an area of about 25 million square kilometres, North America is the third largest of the continents.
