People of the World

As of 2007, the world's population reached approximately 6.5 billion people. Asia is the most populated continent in the world, with more than 60% of the world's population. In Asia, China makes up about 20%, and India about 16% of the world's population. Africa and Europe are home to about 12% and 11% of the world's population, respectively. North America is home to about 8%, and South America to about 5% of the world's population.
