The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind

The Royal Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB) is the primary provider of vision-related rehabilitation services for approximately 11,700 blind, deafblind and vision-impaired New Zealanders.

Established in 1890, the RNZFB provides its members with the skills and the confidence to live and move about independently, to continue to read, gain or remain in paid work and carry on doing the things they love.

Just one-third of the RNZFB's $22m annual operating budget comes from Government sources. The RNZFB has to fundraise the rest which means corporate support and fundraising appeals are vital.
